what's important to you
is important to me
You don't care about the awards I've won, or which venues recommend me - you care about beautiful photographs, a hassle-free experience and someone you'll enjoy having around - so here's a little about the person (or people) you'll be spending the day with, when you book with me.
A 90s baby from a waterside town on the English South Coast, I was very lucky to grew up in a big family full of unique personalities and backgrounds;
Growing up around so much diversity helped me to see the world from so many different points of view, which definitely sparked an interest in hearing and documenting people's stories.
From my multilingual pacifist granddad, who spent time in Europe cracking codes and helping marginalised families rebuild after the war; to the uncle who caught the travel bug when my Navy Diver dad convinced him to try a Pad Thai in Manchester back in 2015. He applied for his first passport at the young age of 75 and has since been to Canada, Australia, Portugal and Las Vegas, to name just a few!
Needless to say, travelling is in my blood. I adore meeting new people and experiencing new adventures.
Whether it's taking a trip abroad for myself or to see family; visiting a new English town; or even just taking Roger to a new peaceful patch of nature nearby where he can run free and sniff to his heart's content; I love it all. I love to have authentic experiences wherever I go and connect both with the environment and the people. I'd learn every language if I could, but honestly if it's not a romance language, I'll usually only remember 'please', 'thank you' and 'sorry' (I'm far too clumsy not to learn that one) once I step off the plane. Boldog Karácsonyt being the exception - I do love a Christmas market!

Although I know very little about Astrology and don't follow horoscopes, I do find some of it eerily accurate - namely my star sign and how it accurately predicts my values.
Since that song, when most people think of Aquarius they think of hippie earthchildren, all about peace and love. While I don't own any tie dye and can't say I've ever been involved in a drum circle, humanitarian and environmental causes have been important to me for as long as I can remember, and I'm most at peace immersed in nature, especially by the sea.
I remember as a young teen, pestering my school to add recycling bins to each classroom, and convincing friends to participate in various charity fundraising schemes; everything from a day of silence for WaterAid, to abseiling down glass buildings in the rain for The Rowans Hospice (fastest abseil you've ever seen - if you can call it that! 😂).
That part of me hasn't changed much; I still like to arrange at least one fundraising event a year, whether it's a Colour Obstacle Course or the Virtual Wedding Fair I set up during the 2020 lockdown to bring couples and suppliers together, when I saw them struggling with the lack of connection. It felt natural to partner with Mind for the event, to provide support where necessary, whilst raising both mental health awareness and funds for the charity. If you're planning your wedding, you can still discover those wedding suppliers here.
Oh and of course I'm vegan, but you knew that as soon as I said Aquarius!

"We booked Lindsay as our wedding photographer and she was absolutely brilliant! She was very professional, helpful and charming on the day and did everything we asked for and more. We have just received our photos from her and they are truly amazing, better than we could have imagined. I would not hesitate to recommend Lindsay for any special occasion and thank her for ensuring we will always have the most wonderful memories of our day."

After a couple of Bloody Marys with friends, dutch courage gave 25-year-old me the confidence to film and post the first of these videos. Whether that was a good or bad thing, I'll let you decide! Butttt, get a Bonus Gift with your photography package if you correctly guess which of these videos that was... you might get a giggle out of my silly drunken self when you figure it out!
